Repeat Prescriptions

If your pet is on long term medication you can request a repeat prescription to be dispensed by the practice, by completing the form below.

As always, legally, we must ensure that any animals we supply prescription only medicines to are currently 'under our care'.  This means that we are obliged to re-examine your pet at regular intervals. This will usually be every 6 months; however, it can vary depending on each individual case and the medication involved and for controlled drugs it may be as little as one month due to additional prescribing restrictions.  The vet can provide advice on this during your consultation.

For a small charge, we can also issue you with a written prescription if you wish to purchase your medication elsewhere.   Please note, from 1st June 2024 all written prescriptions will be emailed or posted directly by us to your chosen pharmacy, therefore we will require your pharmacy details when you submit your written prescription request.

Please allow 3 working days for all repeat prescriptions requests to be completed.  This allows our vets time to check your pet's history and order in the medication if necessary.

If you and your pet(s) are not registered with our practice, you can register on-line at register online.

Repeat Prescription Form

Our on-line repeat prescription form is for registered pets only, who are under the care of one of our veterinary surgeons and on long-term or repeat medication.
Please allow 3 working days for your request to be processed.
