A warm welcome!
A very warm welcome is extended to everybody from Elizabeth Smith Veterinary Practice. We are a small animal and equine practice located on the road between the villages of Ickwell and Upper Caldecote, near Biggleswade.

The practice was established in 1982 by Mrs Helen Papworth, but a constant expansion meant that we out grew the original premises prompting a move to Shuttleworth College in April 1998. Elizabeth Smith bought the practice in May 2002
as Helen decided to semi-retire. As Shuttleworth College expanded, they needed their building  back so the surgery was forced to find a new location at very short notice. We moved into temporary, modular buildings at a fantastic location in Upper Caldecote whilst planning consent was acquired to build a brand new, purpose build surgery on the same site. We finally moved into our new premises on 3rd March 2011. It has been a long journey but it is great to be in permanent premises and to be able to offer the best first opinion veterinary services that we are able to in comfortable, modern surroundings.
